The sculptural design features turned dowel construction, spindle-style arms, crossed folding supports, and long curved rockers. Supple leather forms the sling seat and backrest, giving the chair a relaxed, rustic character while showcasing natural patina developed over time. Its ingenious folding construction makes this an especially interesting example of traditional Central American furniture design.
