A beautiful Chinese Famille Rose porcelain charger (plate). The white ground is finely hand-painted with a classic "Nine Peaches" (Jiu Tao) motif, featuring a gnarled leafy branch bearing large, vibrant pink and purple peaches. Several red bats (fu) are depicted in flight, symbolizing blessings and good fortune. The rim is finished with a delicate gold band. The base bears a blue six-character "Da Qing Qianlong Nian Zhi" (Made in the Qianlong Reign of the Great Qing) mark, along with a red collector's seal and a vintage "Robert DUPUY" Paris gallery label.
