An exceptional pair of late 19th-century French antique bamboo twin headboards, masterfully crafted during the height of the European aesthetic movement. Each headboard features a classic geometric fretwork upper gallery intricately accented with turned bamboo rings and finial details.
The pieces beautifully balance historic character with fresh, modern styling. The lower inset panels have been custom-upholstered in an artisanal, vibrant multicolor flame-stitch ikat textile featuring rich coral, slate blue, gold, and cream tones. Beneath the textile panel sits a handsomely aged natural wood apron.
Perfect for a guest bedroom, children's room or an eclectic holiday cottage. This rare matching pair effortlessly brings warmth, architectural texture, and tailored sophistication to any space.
Could easily be adapted to a stunning daybed as well.
