Design Plus Gallery presents a Modern Organic Rattan Lounge Chair from McGuire Furniture. This is an oversized organic modern lounge chair designed by Elinor McGuire in the California coastal style. The chair has a large horseshoe shaped round back with a thick pole rattan frame. The frame is lashed together with leather rawhide laces on the exposed joints. The frame has a dramatic a lacquer finish and is topped with thick, plush seat cushions in a neutral sand with tonal patterns. It is sturdy and solid with a desirable patina on the leather laces as seen in photos and has a Makers plaque on bottom of seat. There is a large stain on the right arm and is overall in fair condition.
