A beautiful set of four handcrafted ceramic soup bowls from Bat Trang, Vietnam, a village renowned for its centuries-old tradition of ceramic production.
Each generously sized bowl features an ivory-toned glazed ground decorated with an intricate floral and scrolling vine motif in deep cobalt blue, warm red, and sunny yellow. The slightly irregular forms, subtle variations in the painted decoration, and character of the glaze give the set the distinctive appeal associated with artisan-made pottery. Each bowl is marked “Bat Trang Vietnam” on the underside.
