An impressive set of 18 vintage Bernardaud Limoges porcelain service plates in the elegant Villiers pattern. Each plate features intricate acid-etched scrolling foliage, geometric borders, and classical ornamentation executed in fine gold.
The reverse bears the Bernardaud Limoges France mark and “incrustation or fin,” indicating fine-gold encrustation. Their generous size and unusually large set of 18 make them particularly desirable for formal entertaining. They are equally striking as service plates, chargers, or decorative display pieces.
Made in Limoges, France.
