An absolutely spectacular mid-century statement piece, this massive vintage 1970s free-form art glass centerpiece bowl features a striking honey-amber core. Handcrafted by the master artisans of Chalet Artistic Glass in Cornwall, Ontario, Canada, this sculptural "swung" bowl features heavy crystal glass layered and pulled dramatically upward into organic, fiery peaks.
Substantial in presence and scale, this impressive studio piece stands 16 inches tall and weighs a heavy 4.8 pounds. The glass remains beautifully bright and clear, featuring a few charming, microscopic air bubbles embedded within the thick crystal walls—a natural and authentic signature of furnace-blown studio craftsmanship.
