A striking vintage Hollywood Regency table lamp featuring an elaborate gilt-metal botanical form adorned with cascading faceted crystal prisms. The sculptural foliage rises from a substantial dark marble or marble-like tapered base accented with gold-tone trim.
At 36 inches tall, this is an impressive statement lamp with wonderful scale, texture and sparkle. The crystals beautifully reflect the light, while the warm gilt finish and dramatic silhouette evoke classic Italian and French Regency lighting.
The existing bell-shaped shade is included as shown, although a new shade could easily give the lamp a more contemporary look.
No maker’s mark has been located. Attribution to a specific maker or country of origin is not being made.
