The rich walnut brown surface highlights glazed sliding doors, casters, open lower shelf, characteristic of France furniture making in the mid-century modern tradition, of the mid-century period. Its patina has developed slowly and naturally over the years, the kind of depth that cannot be faked or hurried. Furniture like this was built to be passed down, not replaced, and choosing it today continues that same intention. It is one of the better decisions you can make for the planet as well as your home, since furniture built this solidly rarely needs replacing. It is well suited to a bar cart for entertaining.
