Designed in Brazil during the 1950s, each chair features a dramatically curved backrest that flows into a generous upholstered seat, creating a silhouette that feels both sculptural and inviting. Slender, splayed legs lend the design a sense of lightness, while the exposed caviúna arms form sinuous, continuous lines punctuated by Scapinelli’s distinctive carved handrests.
