Sculptural in form, each vase is constructed from brass and accented with genuine snakeskin panels. The two vessels have distinctive asymmetrical profiles inspired by long-beaked birds, with tapered necks that extend upward into pointed forms. One vase is taller and slender with a deep brown snakeskin inset, while the smaller vase has a rounded body accented with a lighter natural snakeskin panel. Both pieces bear the R&Y Augousti Paris maker’s mark on the underside. R&Y Augousti is recognized for decorative objects that combine sculptural metalwork with exotic natural materials. The contrasting snakeskin patterns and brass surfaces give each vase its own individual character while maintaining a coordinated design. These are discontinued models with the brand, and they are in good condition with visible and minimal wear from usage. Made in Paris, France.
