The form was conceived as part of the Provence oven-to-table serveware collection, combining food preparation and presentation within a single coordinated porcelain system.

The lower platter measures approximately 24 inches long and is formed as an elongated oval with gently raised sides and integrated end sections. The fitted upper component follows the same extended profile and is pierced with multiple drainage openings, allowing cooking or serving liquids to pass through into the lower vessel while supporting a whole fish above the collected liquid.

Both components are finished in plain white porcelain or ceramic without applied ornament, placing emphasis on the long proportion, functional construction and restrained BODUM design vocabulary. At 7.15 lb combined, the set is notably substantial and was designed as functional oven-to-table serveware rather than a lightweight decorative platter.

The complete two-piece configuration is retained together with the original BODUM box and original fitted interior cardboard packaging. The ceramic components are in used, like-new condition with no chips or cracks. The outer box has substantial storage wear consistent with age and handling.
