The Guest Bedroom — The Bedside Table.
The little things that make a guest feel at home.
Vintage 1970s solid brass oval serving tray featuring a raised faux-bamboo gallery rail and coordinating loop handles. Probably made in India, the tray combines a substantial brass surface with an open bamboo-form border, giving it the Chinoiserie and Hollywood Regency character popular in decorative interiors of the period.
Generously scaled for serving, the tray also works beautifully on a bedside table, bar cart, coffee table or ottoman. The warm aged brass provides an especially good backdrop for blue-and-white porcelain, flowers, glassware or a tea service—as shown in our Guest Bedroom collection.
