Two exceptional, low-profile coffee tables made of heavy, solid wood, dating from the 1970s.
The tabletops consist of three sturdy, parallel solid wood planks with narrow gaps between them. They are supported by striking, recessed legs, giving the tables a clean and balanced appearance despite their substantial construction. The visible grain, knots, and natural irregularities of the wood emphasize their original, handcrafted character.
They can be used individually or combined to create a spacious square seating arrangement.
Condition: Good, authentic vintage condition with age- and use-related patina. The wood surfaces show minor scratches, stains, dents, knots, and natural stress cracks. Overall, both tables present a very distinctive character with a beautiful, naturally occurring surface.
