Measures 12 1/4" wide, 7/8" deep and 10 1/8" tall.

The framed artwork shows a dried and pressed plant, which is called a herbarium. The plant in the picture is an elegant specimen of large-flowered boxwood (Polygonatum biflorum or Polygonatum multiflorum , in English often called Solomon's seal), which is evident from the characteristic arched stem, the oval leaves and the small hanging, bell-shaped flowers on the underside. This type of vintage and antique botanical art – especially Swedish herbaria from the late 19th to mid-20th centuries – is very popular as a decorative detail and collector's item for its minimalist and natural aesthetic.
