Giacometti grew up on a Swiss farm close to the Italian border. He later moved to Paris and became known for his sculpture furniture that included extensive work inspired by the animal kingdom of his childhood on the farm. This 3 piece set from the Mid-Century features two small birds sitting on a base of tree branch and flora. The birds are Silverpkate over copper. We are unsure if the branch base is plated.
