Design Plus Gallery presents a Vintage Hand-Carved Teak Daybed. The solid wood structure displays extensive hand-carved detailing across the front apron, arms, legs, and backrest. Openwork panels along the back incorporate scrolling serpentine forms, floral motifs, and geometric carving, while the front apron continues the decorative pattern through latticework and foliate ornament. The sculptural arms curve into large scroll terminals accented by carved leaf details and stepped bases. Two prominent front legs are shaped in a volute form and decorated with additional botanical carving, while squared rear legs support the elevated frame. The daybed includes a wide blue upholstered seat cushion and two coordinating cylindrical bolster pillows. Natural variations, markings, and surface character throughout the teak contribute to its vintage appearance. It is in good condition with visible and minimal wear from usage.
