Naval navigation lantern with a cylindrical polished copper structure, composed of a wide base, a central glazed body, and a shaped upper dome with integrated handle. The central section houses a transparent glass Fresnel lens, characterised by raised concentric bands, with a metal reflective element visible inside. The structure features four brass side fastening elements, arranged symmetrically on the sides of the base and upper section. A metal manufacturer’s plate is applied to the front, accompanied by the serial number and DIN 89950 marking.
Produced by A. Helemann and Schlatter, Bremen, 1950s.
Good condition, with light signs of age. It shows a natural copper patina, minor oxidation, small scratches, and signs of use. The glass lens is intact and the overall structure is well preserved.
