Stunning pair of original 1950s French chairs by Jacques Adnet, featuring beautifully aged green leather paired with slender black metal frames and distinctive brass ball details.
The chairs feature thick green leather seats and leather-wrapped backrests with hand-stitched detailing characteristic of Adnet’s work. The black metal frames are accented with brass ball finials at the tops and brass ball feet, while X-form crossbars beneath the seats provide additional support.
The leather has developed a wonderful age-distressed patina with natural color and tone variations, giving the pair exceptional vintage character.
