The front opens with two drawers in the frieze, adorned with moldings and discreet carved decoration. The drawers are traditionally assembled and slide smoothly. The frieze is arched with a wide central opening, providing comfortable use. The uprights are decorated with carved shell-shaped mounts, typical of the Louis XV style. The desk rests on four cabriole legs ending in scrolls, adding considerable elegance to the piece. The top displays a beautiful walnut grain with a lovely antique patina. The desk is fully finished on all sides, making it suitable for use as a centerpiece. See less
