The rectangular upholstered backs are framed by finely carved borders with repeating geometric detail, creating a strong graphic contrast against the dark painted finish.

The sabre-style rear legs and tapered front legs reflect the restrained strength of the Empire period, while the curved side profile adds elegance and sculptural movement. Newly upholstered in linen, the seats and backs provide a clean softness that balances the dramatic frames.

Refined yet commanding, this pair works beautifully as side chairs, desk chairs, or accent seating, bringing Swedish neoclassical sophistication to both traditional and contemporary interiors. See less
