It was produced by James … Read more The Corinth pattern is a highly collectible mid-19th century piece of English ironstone transfer ware. It was produced by James Edwards, a pioneer in white ironstone production who operated Dale Hall Pottery in Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England. The production era for the Corinth pattern diamond registration mark points to a registered date of July 16th, 1847. This is a heavy, durable Victorian transfer-printed ironstone and measures 20” wide by 15 3/4” tall by 2” deep. It features a scenic pastoral view showcasing a bridge, stylized trees, a body of water, rolling mountains and distant architectural towers in a classic romantic Victorian landscape. It is in good vintage condition showing signs of aging due to its age. See less
