A wonderfully decorative vintage palm tree floor lamp featuring a tall faux-bamboo trunk in a warm, softly distressed yellow finish topped with sculptural dark green palm fronds.
The palm fronds are crafted of metal with hand-painted detailing and surround the upper light fitting, while the substantial faux-bamboo base is constructed of cast resin. The square pedestal base gives the lamp considerable weight and stability.
The original finish has been intentionally preserved, including its wonderful aged patina, scattered marks, scuffs and areas of finish loss throughout. The metal palm fronds also retain some scuffs and finish wear consistent with age and use. A clear protective coat has been applied to the fronds to help preserve their existing finish and character.
A new white linen-style drum shade has been added, giving the lamp a fresh contrast while allowing that fabulous original yellow and green finish to remain the focus.
A substantial statement floor lamp with plenty of character, perfect for an Old Florida, tropical, British Colonial or eclectic interior.
Please note: This is a heavy, substantial lamp. Vintage wear and imperfections remain throughout and are considered part of its character.

Good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear throughout. The original finish displays scattered scuffs, scratches, marks and areas of finish loss, particularly along the base. The metal palm fronds show some surface wear and scuffing; a clear protective coat has been applied to help preserve the existing finish. New shade has been added. Structurally solid and substantial with a heavy cast resin base.
