Measuring an impressive 69 inches tall by 19 inches wide, the mirror has wonderful architectural presence while requiring relatively little wall width—making it especially beautiful between windows, in an entry hall, dressing room, primary suite, or luxurious walk-in closet.

The upper portion is particularly distinctive, with a raised classical female profile surrounded by an oval decorative border and crowned by an exuberant sculptural crest of scrolling foliage and Rococo-style flourishes. Additional raised ornamentation accents the sides and lower corners of the frame.

The aged gold/gilt finish has developed the warm depth and variation that gives an older decorative mirror so much character. Its long, narrow proportions are reminiscent of traditional European pier mirrors, which were designed to occupy narrow vertical wall spaces.
