Crafted in solid oak, it reflects the confident, sculptural forms that Belgian cabinetmakers embraced as they moved away from the flowing curves of Art Nouveau toward a more architectural aesthetic.

The frame is distinguished by a hand-carved zigzag front stretcher and hand-set brass upholstery studs, both hallmarks of quality period craftsmanship. Its cheerful yellow upholstery brings warmth and character to the piece, while the sturdy oak construction ensures both comfort and lasting durability.

Well preserved and full of period charm, this chair makes a wonderful statement piece on its own or grouped around a table. A genuine and characterful example of Belgian Art Deco design, ideal for collectors, decorators, and admirers of 1920s craftsmanship. See less
