Vintage bayard wall/kitchen clock, french-made in the 1950s. The case features the typical silhouette of 1950s design: a flared trapezoidal shape with rounded corners, entirely covered in textured red formica (crescent-like canvas/woven fabric), highly representative of the post-war revival of french kitchens.
the white lacquered metal dial is encircled by a wide chrome bezel and protected by its original domed glass. The large, easily legible numerals and the slender, baton-style hands enhance the clear readability characteristic of 1950s functionalist design. The "bayard" brand name appears in full in the center of the dial, below the hands, confirming the movement's origin—bayard being one of the most renowned and sought-after french watch manufacturers of this period. H.21 w.27.5 d.5 cm a key accompanies the clock this piece has an attribution mark,
