The tray measures approximately 8 inches in diameter and features a pierced openwork gallery around the perimeter, a beaded outer rim, richly embossed decoration, and a raised pedestal base. The center medallion is particularly detailed, with a traditional Thai deity figure framed by elaborate ornamental work.

The piece was identified in person by an appraiser as Thai in origin. Exact age and identification of the depicted figure have not been established, so I am conservatively listing it as vintage rather than assigning a specific historical period.

Constructed of brass with a wonderful naturally aged surface. It retains substantial original patina with areas of oxidation, reddish/copper-toned spotting, darkening and surface variation developed over time. It has not been polished or restored, and I have intentionally left the existing patina intact.

Acquired from a private collection containing numerous Asian decorative, ceremonial and collectible pieces.
