Pair of early 20th century Venetian Rococo side chairs / armchairs in solid wood with a hand-painted Tuscan yellow finish and red edge striping, and accessorized with removable cushions that tie around the back with long tassels. Dramatically scrolled arms, a cut-out splat back, and cabriole legs over a woven cane seat deck.
The red-and-cream gingham check cushions were likely custom-made at some point in the last 30-40 years and they are in great condition. Cane seats; one has been reinforced.
