A distinctive pair of vintage barrel-back lounge chairs featuring gracefully curved exposed wood frames and richly patterned gold and cream upholstery. Each chair has sculptural wood arms, rounded finial details, gently curved front rails, tapered legs, loose seat and back cushions, and decorative tassel accents.
The enveloping silhouette offers a comfortable, generously proportioned seat, while the warm gold upholstery and dark wood frames create an elegant Hollywood Regency–inspired appearance. Their finished upholstered backs allow the chairs to be displayed away from a wall, making them well suited for a living room, bedroom, library, or conversation area.
These chairs are being offered together as a matching pair. The maker is unknown; no manufacturer’s label or identifying mark has been located.
Sold as a set of two.

The upholstery displays visible fading, uneven coloration, discoloration, spotting, staining, surface wear, and areas of fraying, particularly along the lower edges and trim. The seat cushions show wear and compression consistent with previous use. Decorative trim and tassels also exhibit age-related wear. The exposed wood frames have scratches, scuffs, small finish losses, rubbed areas, and other marks consistent with age. No professional restoration or upholstery cleaning has been performed. The chairs present attractively in their current vintage condition, but professional cleaning or reupholstery may be desired depending on the buyer’s preferences. Please review all photographs closely, as they form an important part of the condition description. *Please note that this is a vintage, pre-owned item and is not brand new. Vintage pieces have been previously used and may show age-appropriate wear, including scratches, scuffs, small chips, discoloration, finish variations, fading, patina, repairs, or other imperfections. These signs of age are part of each item’s history, character, and unique charm. We make every effort to photograph and describe notable condition issues accurately. Please review all photographs carefully, as they are considered an important part of the description.
