**Stunning Antique c.1887 Gustav Becker Medaille D'Or Vienna Regulator Wall Clock**
An exceptional late 19th-century German Vienna Regulator wall clock manufactured by the renowned Gustav Becker. Based on the authentic factory serial number 550740 stamped on the back plate, this masterpiece was crafted in Freiburg, Germany, circa 1887.
The solid wood case is in beautiful condition, featuring crisp carved architectural details, a clean white porcelain dial with Roman numerals, and a lower door highlighted by a gorgeous brass-trimmed leaded glass panel.
**Authentic Mechanical Features & Markings:**
- Back plate features the crisp, stamped Gustav Becker anchor/crown hallmark.
- Stamped with the prestigious "Medaille D'Or" exhibition mark.
- Stamped "P 27" indicating the exact pendulum escape rate.
- Features a clean, matching two-weight time and strike movement.
**Condition Report:**
Excellent antique cosmetic condition. The wood case finish is deep and rich, the porcelain dial is free of major cracks, and the brass weights retain a brilliant patina.
CRITICAL MECHANICAL NOTE: The clock is being sold strictly "For Parts or Not Working" as it requires minor assembly maintenance. The thin inner steel leaf of the suspension spring has broken. The original factory brass mounting blocks are 100% present on the bracket and wood rod (see photos), but a temporary piece of twine is currently in place just to hang the pendulum for photography. To be fully operational, it simply needs a standard replacement 0.05mm German regulator suspension leaf (a $6 part). The gear train and pivots appear complete and untouched.
**Measurements:**
- Height: 34 inches
- Width: 14 inches
- Depth: 6.5 inches
**Shipping & Handling:**
This is a delicate mechanical instrument. It will be professionally packed, double-boxed, and shipped with full insurance. Weights and pendulum will be unhooked and wrapped separately to prevent internal damage during transit. Local pickup is also welcomed.
