Set of 8 Limoges porcelain plates with painted decoration, signed Redon (Martial Redon factory, active in Limoges from 1882 to 1896 under this name).

Decoration: creamy white background with polychrome painted decoration of flowering branches (apple or pink and yellow cherry blossoms, gilded foliage) and more discreet plant motifs (ferns, scattered flowering sprigs). The style and palette are reminiscent of the factory's Art Nouveau production, which alternates between "Japanese-inspired" floral motifs and richly gilded borders.

Rim: scalloped edge (gadrooned rim), highlighted by a wide gilt band.

Period: late 19th - early 20th century.
