Handcrafted in Clarkesville, Georgia, between 1985 and 2000. This set is a part of Habersham's highly collectible and historically accurate "Connecticut River Valley Collection."

True to early American 18th-century New England design, each chair features a continuous steam-bent bow back anchoring eight elegant spindles, supported by a distinct structural rear tail brace for superior durability. The thick, sculpted saddle seats showcase incredible, deep-grained oak or ash wood figuring that highlights the timber's natural beauty. Supported by heavily turned bobbin legs and a rigid H-stretcher system, the frames feature Habersham’s signature factory-distressed, warm amber-brown finish designed to replicate centuries of authentic colonial character.

The underside of the chairs features Habersham’s highly detailed, burned-in collection stamp. The oval maker's mark displays a beautiful folk-art motif featuring a rose, a perched songbird, and a heart branded with the numbers "1780" (denoting the historical 18th-century New England style replication). The outer ring reads "Connecticut River Valley Collection" along the top arch and "Clarkesville, Georgia" along the bottom edge, verifying their authentic origin from Habersham's historic workshop.
