The substantial rectangular frame is wrapped in warm cognac/tobacco-brown leather with an embossed basketweave pattern, contrasting smooth leather borders, saddle-style stitching, and antiqued nailhead detailing.

The construction is particularly noteworthy: the leather continues around the outer edges of the frame and onto the reverse, where it is finished with additional nailheads. A beveled mirror adds another quality detail and gives the otherwise rugged, campaign-inspired design a more tailored appearance.

The leather has developed subtle variations in color, creasing, and surface wear consistent with age, giving the piece the character of vintage equestrian leather goods.
