Although closely coordinated in scale, color and decorative vocabulary, the two candlesticks feature individually modeled designs rather than identical castings. One incorporates a broad arrangement of scrolling foliate forms around a central architectural stem, while its companion features a more vertical composition with opposing C-scrolls and an ornate footed base. Together they create the collected, layered appearance of an intentionally assembled vintage pair. See less
