The sculptural bowl has a distinctive relief pattern and an irregular, almost rock-like structure, which gives it a Brutalist character.

Göte Augustsson was an important designer for Ruda Glasbruk, which became known particularly in the 1950s and 1960s for its sculptural and heavily textured glasswork.
