Originally designed in the early 1950's, Krenchel was looking for a piece that could go from the kitchen to the dining room for serving salads. Voila! The oh-so-striking Krenit bowl! This one is considered large, measuring 10" diameter, and features a baby blue enamel interior with a matte black exterior. As with all Krenit bowls, the underlying metal is steel. It is durable, functional and resplendent with stylish form. No maker's mark apparent though undoubtedly a Krenchel design.

Good previously owned and used condition. There are signs of wear to the matte exterior. If you are familiar with the Krenit bowl then you know the exterior finish is akin to an old fashioned black board and can easily show subtle marks...this one is no different. The enamel is in good shape though there are some minor flea bites at the rim which is not unusual for the age and use.

Measures 5.5" tall x 10" diameter. This is considered the 'Large' salad serving bowl size. See less
