Released in the late 1990s, the highly collectible "Marqueterie" pattern seamlessly blends the bold, opulent aesthetic of Gianni Versace with Germany's world-renowned porcelain craftsmanship.
This round lidded box showcases an intricate neoclassical decorative schema. The rim of the lid features a polished, gleaming 24k gold Greek key border (Meandros) framed by dense, symmetric acanthus leaf cartouches and a beautiful central rosette medallion. The base is encircled with sweeping Baroque scrollwork and a gold-latticed lower rim, all crisp against a background of fine, precision-pinstriped grey lines.
