Bring a touch of Old World elegance to your space with this striking 20th-century revival Louis XIII-style armchair. Commonly referred to as an "Os de Mouton" (mutton bone) chair, this piece beautifully captures the dramatic, sculptural curves of traditional 17th-century European design. It features a commanding presence, perfect for use as a statement desk chair, a handsome fireside accent, or a stately host chair at a dining table.
The chair is upholstered in a rich, saddle-toned cognac leather. The backrest showcases an exquisite, deeply embossed floral and foliate motif, accented with subtle dark highlighting that accentuates the artistry of the pattern. Classic, oversized antiqued brass nailhead trim secures the leather along the perimeter of both the seat and backrest. The frame is crafted from dark-stained hardwood, boasting sweeping scroll arms, classic cabriole legs, and the iconic dual-curved serpentine stretchers underneath that define the style.
