They have been discontinued and are very … Read more Beautiful, Second Edition (1991) Earthenware set of Six MacKenzie Childs MacLachlan dinner plates. They have been discontinued and are very highly collectible. Handmade and hand-painted, 1991. Each may be slightly different due to the hand of the artist. Black and White check borders with purple and green rope outer border. The center of the plate is Country House and Farm scene surrounded by an inner gold rim with a thin floral pattern expanding to the black and white border, then the green and purple rope. Excellent to pristine condition. Each plate has the same center design. See less

Also the supporting rims on the backs of a couple of the dishes have very slight brown scuffs where the wood stain transferred from pine cabinet where they sat. This set has only ever been displayed — not used for food service. less
