These antique set of dining chairs from Sweden, designed with Neoclassical influences, each have slightly curved back supports with upper, rectangular backrest panel that is embellished with inset marquetry depicting a classical urn amidst scrolling foliate ornament, framed by delicate string inlay. Seats are upholstered and rest on clean aprons with simple rectangular inlays outlining the front seat rails. The chairs are raised on slightly tapering, saber legs. The birch wood has acquired a rich honey-brown patina over time, enhancing the visual depth of the grain.
