Art pottery phase signed Gail Jones Roku crackle glaze 8 1/4 inch diameter 4 1/2 inches high
It has the pronounced flared walls and relatively small foot associated with a consciously sculptural vessel form. The glaze treatment—dark mottled exterior with green/blue oxidation and a contrasting cream crackle-glazed interior—is also much more sophisticated than typical hobby pottery.
