Artisan-crafted in Italy, the mirror features a solid beechwood frame enhanced with mixed decorative materials and finished in a warm antique-gold tone.
The upper section is especially distinctive, featuring a large classical female profile medallion surrounded by a laurel-style wreath. Above the portrait, elaborate openwork scrolls, flowers and foliate motifs form an impressive sculptural crest, giving the mirror a strong decorative presence.
Beaded borders frame the clear full-length mirror glass, while scrolling acanthus-style ornaments decorate the lower corners. The slender vertical frame allows the ornate crest and carved details to remain the focal points without making the overall design feel overly heavy.
The frame has been professionally refinished in antique gold, highlighting the dimensional carving, relief work and decorative details while retaining an attractive vintage character.
