A dessert plate produced in Japan between the 1930s and 1950s in the opulent Satsuma, Kutania style, made of high-quality, fine porcelain. The plate is hand-painted with a tactile, raised pattern, with intense gilding and coral red accents. It is decorated with a scene depicting traditional Japanese figurative motifs and an image of a geisha in a garden. It may show slight wear.
