All three instruments bear the matching edition number 335, making this a particularly appealing set for the serious Montblanc collector.

The Marcel Proust Writers Edition was inspired by the celebrated French author and his monumental work “In Search of Lost Time”. The instruments feature richly engraved sterling silver overlays with intricate scrolling and literary inspired ornamentation, all complimented by Montblanc’s signature black resin and white six-pointed star emblem. The intricate engravings on the silver barrels are meant to evoke the complexity and fluidity of Proust’s prose. Each piece is numbered, adding to its rarity and collectible status in the luxury market.

The set includes an exceptionally well preserved never inked Fountian Pen, No. 00335/21,000, medium (M) 18K gold nib with the factory “M” nib size sticker present. The mechanical pencil is particularly scarce, having been issued in an edition of only 4000.
