Formed in glossy opaque white milk glass, the shade has a beautifully sculptural silhouette, with deep radial folds extending from the central collar to the undulating outer rim. The classic petticoat form was used with period oil and kerosene lamps and later adapted to a variety of antique lighting fixtures.
Its crisp architectural pleating and luminous white glass make it equally appealing as a replacement component for the restoration of an antique lamp or as a decorative element in period-inspired lighting.
