Handsome 19th century (c.1860) brass-bound oak Naval fire bucket. Would have likely had a metal liner inside- not included here. Used aboard UK military ships to douse a fire with sand or water. The crest is clear and colorful, with some paint chipped here and there- none of which distracts from the crest itself or the overall aesthetic of this piece!
Measures almost 12” tall, 11.75” wide.
