Striking vintage Spanish Chinoiserie armchair in the style of James Mont, featuring a sculptural horseshoe back, sweeping arms, and a dramatic high-gloss black lacquer finish.
Brass accents punctuate the curved back, corners, and feet, adding warmth to the architectural silhouette. The pierced central back splat and scroll-form arm terminals give the chair a distinctly Asian Modern character, while the low, generous proportions make it equally suited as an occasional, lounge, or statement chair.
The removable seat cushion is upholstered in a neutral cream textile. Made in Spain, the chair beautifully blends Chinoiserie influence with the glamorous lacquer-and-brass aesthetic associated with 1970s and 1980s interiors.
