The handle is intricately hand-carved from natural stag antler showing a hooded grotesque face. The elongated hood acts as the handle. I would identify the carved face as the Grim Reaper, especially due to the concealed gadget.

The tiny pin protruding from the bone collar just beneath the antler is actually a push button spring mechanism. Push the button to release the handle from the shaft and reveal a long blade.

Excellent condition, minor scuffs and wear
