Charming collection of eight antique German mercury glass Santa Claus Christmas ornaments dating from approximately 1920–1940. Each hand-finished blown glass Santa has its own character, with traditional red, silver and cream decoration, molded beards and painted details. The group includes several different Santa forms and sizes, giving the collection the wonderful variety associated with early German Christmas ornaments.
Made for the American and European Christmas market during the first half of the 20th century, these early figural ornaments are increasingly difficult to find as a group. Sold as a collection of eight.
Dimensions: Approximately 2" to 4" high. Tree not included.
