The ship features a beautifully shaped wooden hull with a warm aged finish, three tall masts, multiple spars and furled fabric sails. Particularly striking is the elaborate hand-tied rigging, including fine cord lines, ladder-like rope netting, crow’s nests, and detailed standing and running rigging. The extended bowsprit and small deck fittings add to its wonderfully authentic nautical character.

Mounted on its original simple wooden display stand, the model has an appealing primitive, folk-art quality rather than the appearance of a modern manufactured ship model. The aged wood, darkened rigging, worn sails, and slight irregularities contribute to its character and suggest genuine age.

A fantastic decorative piece for a coastal, nautical, traditional, or collected interior—especially beautiful displayed on a console, mantel, or library shelf. ❤️ See less
